1. I got my "For Your Tears" handkerchief from Debbie Pucci, which of course, made me cry.
2. My sweetest co-worker, got my note about the miscarriage, walked up to me in the hallway and gave the longest, sweetest hug. Somehow that hug really reached me in a way that not much else has in the last week.
3. When I saw my chiropractor, who is also such a dear dear person, I told her about some of the digestive issues I was having since the miscarriage, which can absolutely be attributed to hormones, but also, to what she called the "Grief and Loss Diet." Which relies on a lot of cookies. Somehow calling it that made me smile, and also let me put a frame around it which makes it feel like I can set it aside after the new year.
4. We made reservations for sat and sun after xmas at a cabin overlooking the ocean--and we need some ocean right about now.
5. My kitten plays fetch, and presents her toy to be thrown. She might be a dog.
Debby is so wonderful. I use my hanky when I am feeling especially vulnerable.

Your very welcome, wish I could do more for you.
You are in my prayers.
Love that your kitty plays fetch, our Skye won't do it, she wants to play but won't give up her ball.
Have a beautiful time at the Ocean. God Bless.

I am so glad you are getting some support. I have been thinking of you this week and just wishing things didn't have to be so hard.

Good! I'm so glad....you deserve a ton of nice things to happen to you. Have fun at the ocean...that sounds like heaven! I could use some ocean myself right about now.

Came over from Cecily and I want to express my sympathy to you, from the little of your blog I've read so far (just a few posts), my heart is breaking for you and it's clearly not your first heartbreak.
I will be saying many prayers for you over this Christmas week.
On another note - we had a cat who played fetch and she most definitely thought she was a dog. She was one of the best things that ever happened to us.

I'm so glad that you're getting love from all over. I hope the beach, your kitty, and that wonderful husband of yours do your heart good over the holidays.

I'm so happy you're finding these moments of solace, and I hope the time by the ocean renewed your spirit. I hope that these good things continue to happen for you!
If it makes you feel any better to hear, I too had bad digestive issues after my miscarriage last year. I don't know if you're in the mood for humor around it -- if so, you may want to check out my post about it:
http://goodegghunting.blogspot.com/2009/01/blast-from-past.html. The good news is it resolved on its own after a few weeks, and I hope yours does too!
