One year ago today we brought Asa home from the NICU. Today he is huge, funny, sweet and best of all, supremely healthy.
He says mama, dada, Judahh and loves meatballs and blueberries.
Happy one year of being home baby boy! Mommy and daddy love you beyond measure.
It's 5 pm. I'm sitting in the car in the garage, waiting for ace to wake up. His usual bed time is 6, so this could get dicey...
Anyhow, I thought I try to fit in a post with more than just pictures.
The boys had a glorious 1 st birthday with all sorts of friends (our friends, and a few of theirs...), and their grandma and auntie in from NYC.
They are growing up so quickly. They are both crawling, pulling up, and in Juice's case, trying pretty hard to figure out how to get that walking thing going.
They continue tinge little individuals. For example, Ace will eat a lot of solid food, but he's not adept with finger foods yet. Juice is very adept at self feeding, but doesn't consume the volume Ace does. He's more interested in the process.
Ace is babbling like a mad thing. Says Mama, dada and his brothers' name, very often appropriately, says hi and waves, and is working on the word "kitty"! Juice is busy trying to dismantle the childproofing equipment, and let's loose with a few "Ma's" every once in a whole.
I'm doing pretty well--better when I get some uninterrupted sleep, and worse when I don't. I am enjoying working very part time, and on days when I'm not feeling like a very good mother, it's nice to go to work and feel like I've accomplished something.
